From the bulletin board

This website is designed to be a fun, safe place for your child to “belong” to an inclusive club. All kids who have read my novel, My War at Windsor School, are welcome to join the Windsor Reading Club. If you have not read the book, I invite you to do so and discover a spunky girl who wants to behave as she should but sometimes falls short. Your child—most likely a girl between the ages of 8 and 13 — will relate to Sally Listerman’s struggles, learn from her mistakes, and rejoice with her successes. Girls who read Sally’s escapades will realize it’s easy to make bad decisions and hard to confess. They’ll learn that though consequences exist, life can get back on track. They will also discover a lot about how families coped with the anguish of WWII.
On this website, Sally’s young fans can engage in fun activities to keep heading in the right direction as they continue growing toward their teens.
The website has two levels of membership that relate to the story they read. Miss Simmons’ room is open to everyone who signs up, and it has fun activities related to the book. Mrs. Arthur’s room admits only those who purchased a First Edition book (from ABC Books in Springfield, Missouri), which is embossed and I have personally signed. Inside, readers will find an informative “behind the scenes” letter to them from Sally as well as her picture. As First Edition Members, readers will have activities and opportunities not open to regular members. (Click on the First Edition button for details about membership.)
In this electronic era when many websites are detrimental to children, THIS spot is constantly monitored as a place you can allow your child to visit with confidence. My purpose for publishing this book was to provide an interesting, positive, and informative experience for young girls. You may contact me at my club email: meqauthor@gmail.com
A Note to Parents

Also, you'll received other interesting opportunities.

How to buy books
You can chat with the author by joining the club and entering the Little Room or the Big Room. There you will find an option to talk to the author about the book, and First Edition Club members can give suggestions of ideas for a sequel (another book possibly to be written about Reever School.)
There is also a secret spot to send a contact form to the author by clicking on the phone in the foyer above.
